How to disable the Lock Screen on Windows 8

It has a wonderful visual appeal and adds style to Microsoft approach of mobile devices, particularly to tablets. The following easy steps showing that " how to remove the lock screen on windows 8". 




Steps to disable the lock screen on Windows 8 :
  • Click on the " Start " menu and Search " gpedit.msc  ". 

 



  • Click it open and type the " gpedit.msc " command and then Press " Enter " . 

  • It will open up he " Local Group Policy Editor " window . 
 


  • Click on  " Computer Configuration " --> move to " Administrative Templates "  .

  • Expand it further to get to " Control Panel " and click on " Personalization ". 

  • Now you can see " Settings " option just hit " Do not display the lock screen "

  • Double click on this and check the box tagged as " Enabled " to enable this. 

  • Click on " Apply " and "OK ". 

Now you are done with disabling lock screen option Windows 8.
